In Greek culture, Pomegranates are looked at as a fruit that symbolizes luck and prosperity to display in your home. It is also a sign of renewal and regeneration. On New Years, th ere is a smashing of the pomegranate ritual still widely practiced in all of Greece, to start the New Year off with hope and celebration! These clay pomegranates are beautifully hand crafted and hand painted with metallic pearlized paint and adorned with a tassel, beads, and or charms.
