From the Victorian 'ETRUSCAN' Era this beautifully crafted Snake brooch is the epitome of the type of jewellery the Victorians loved. A Snake of course did have a totally different connotation to what we perceive today as they were deemed to indicate everlasting love along with everlasting life.
