Sometimes when I'm creating a collection, I sketch each design plan before I fabricate it. Other times, gems end up next to each other on my work bench, and suddenly an idea starts to take shape. I had many turquoise pieces and many dendritic agates, 'trees,' but I hadn't made any with both gems until I saw these beauties hanging out near each other. I decided to add in the emerald for some much needed green. The color scheme of turquoise, green, and golden browns has everything in one piece.
