I have been a lover of Turquoise my whole life. An interesting matrixed Turquoise holds so much memory for me. When I found these few strands of vintage turquoise, I was so excited. The size, the color, and the webbing of the matrix were perfect in my eyes. It was found on a vintage necklace, and there are only a few strands on the original necklace in total, so this style will be limited. The Tahitian pearl is also so special to me. Two years ago, I fell in love with what I call the ‘bubbles’. My pearl dealer (who mainly focuses on more unique shapes) had been collecting the bubbles for 20 years. Every time he got a new flat of pearls, he would sort through them year by year, separating the bubbles to form a collection. The way these bubbles patterned themselves on the pearl was so intriguing to me. I bought the collection. Each strand will come with its unique Tahitian pearl. * If you’d like to have more of a hand in selecting which one you want, please email/DM me after purchase, and I can work with you on that.* The gold wafers are also individually sand cast by me. I originally formed the shape in clay and then cast it using my small-batch sand casting method. While I will be able to make probably five of these necklaces in total, it will be a very limited run with natural variation. Each will follow the pattern in the photo, but like all my work, you must allow for nature to be nature.
