Tutsi bangles are hand-carved using local indigenous wood and they are designed with metal such as copper inlays. These bangles were traditionally worn by Tutsi people to protect t heir wrists from damage or bruising when they use bowstrings there is a recoil action which can catch your wrists. Each bangle is unique with no two of them being the same. They look beautiful in a room display as a bespoke piece of art, even better as a pair.
