A Wire Ferrule is a connector used to terminate stranded wires (sometimes referred to as a cord end terminal or bootlace ferrule). Traditionally a wire ferrule is crimped to a stranded wire using a crimping tool (compression, ratchet, or pneumatic mechanism), thus turning the stranded wire into a solid one.Wire Ferrules are offered without insulation (Non-Insulated Wire Ferrules), with plastic insulation for single wires (Single Insulated Wire Ferrules) and with a plastic insulation to accommodate two wires (Twin Wire Ferrules). Wire Ferrules are offered in Strips or Spools to be used with automatic crimping machines or multi-function crimping tools.Dimensions & Features: Wire Size: 2x20 AWG Color: White E: 3.0mm (0.12") D1: 1.7mm (0.07") D2: 5.4mm (0.21") L1: 14.7mm (0.57") L2: 8.0mm (0.31") S1: 0.3mm (0.01") Max Electrical Rating: 105oC (221oF) - 600 Volts Max Electrical Current: 12A Material: Tin-Plated Copper CE Certified: Yes RoHS Compliant: Yes Product Drawing: Cross References Cross Reference Parts: ABB: XUSG01931 Altech Corp: FTI1808W American Electrical: 1382075 Automation Direct: BM-00552 V3AE000606Eclipse: 701-012 Greenlee: 870/8 McMaster-Carr: 9703K23 Tyco AMP: 1-966 144-6 Weidmuller: 9004780000 9018510000 ZF: V3AE0606 V3AE000606 Documents Click to view product spec sheet: Videos Check out our YouTube channel!
