Terry Widner hand carved these two long-handled spoons from a single piece of dense hardwood reclaimed from a pier in the Philippines. The handles wind in matching sinuous curves f rom bowl to tip, twin snakes frozen mid-motion, the wood's dark close grain running uninterrupted through every bend. Pointed oval bowls, smooth enough to bring to the lip. At 11.6" overall, they are long enough to lean against the wall of a deep pot, or against the wall of a room. Light in the hand at 1.7oz each.
