Not knowing exactly what we had at the time, we thought “Sister” 19-9 offered the goods of flexibility, extension, and build needed to produce something special with this mating (reference the genetic punch from the 19 litter sows as described in depth on Smoke Signal). Just a week later, he sired the Champion Hampshire Gilt at the San Antonio Stock Show and earning a $10,000 scholarship for Hadley Reeves.
