The new head assembly will allow you to turn your qdt or qdt v2 into a leg stopper qdt v2 recon or recon v2 as well as no name v2 into a v2 series leg stopper The leg stopper is a built in feature that does not allow your legs to cross when transporting or closing the tripod With this head assembly it does NOT feature a removable 75mm bowl as the qdt or recon so it will turn your tripod into a v2 series tripod Simply remove your old center section and attach the new center to stop your tripods legs from crossing If your tripod currently does not cross when closing the legs you already have a leg stopper top on your tripod.
