This painting depicts two abstract potted plants with intertwined greenery. With my flower collection, I am exploring texture, shape and different media, mark-making and color, alo ng with the uniqueness of each individual flower. Acrylic paint on canvas, dimensions: 24 inches by 36 inches, 60 cm x 91 cm. I love to paint flowers because they are so inspiring in their color, shape, texture and each flower is completely unique. They can be painted in a million different ways. I also appreciate floral art as a way to display flowers when you cannot have them fresh in your house. One of my children has very severe allergies and we cannot bring flowers into our home, so I use floral art as a way to enjoy the beauty of flowers. *Note: I leave the sides (edges) of my paintings unfinished, I also do not varnish my paintings (I avoid adding any unnecessary chemicals to any of my work). Finally, I do not have any hanging wire on the back of the paintings so that when purchased, the owner can easily have them framed or display them the way they prefer. Show more
