Captor is an all in one guitar tone solution for live or the studio and its one of the coolest products we've seen. Captor starts as a premium reactive load. It will allow you to crank your tube amp and record in absolute silence with no speaker connected. You can then run to a cabinet with to change in tone or volume, or you can send it to a cab with 20 db of attenuation allowing you to crank your amp even harder. On the front panel you have the option of sending a speaker simulated out to a PA system or recording unit, or send a DI signal out the the speaker sim of your choice! This little box virtually eliminates the need to mic your amp or wake the neighbours when laying down tracks.
