Neill, a wine merchant of an earlier generation. Drawn from the estate's own organic vineyards across the Alexandra, Gibbston and Bannockburn sub-regions, it opens with bright red currant, wild herb and purple-flower aromatics, layered with black and red cherry and a thread of fine spice. Winemaker Dean Shaw built the 2024 in a deliberately approachable style: hand-harvested fruit, 89% de-stemmed, a nine-day cold soak and a wild-yeast ferment, then nine months in older French barriques (just 1% new oak).
