Discover the magic of neon sign making with a friend, partner or family member, with our immersive Neon Sign Making Workshop. This hands-on, full-day experience offers expert two-to-one tuition (one crafts person to two participants) where you’ll get an introduction to traditional glass bending techniques and craft your very own neon sign. This is real neon, and not an LED imitation. You will be greeted by a member of our team, who will give you a brief history of neon signs and how they are made, and a tour of our amazing workshop, so that you can understand the different steps of the process and learn some interesting facts about neon. Working directly with one of our highly skilled neon glass benders, you will both chat about bringing your design to life, followed by an introduction to flames and simple bends. The rest of the day will be spent with you both bending the glass to make your design. Duration: The session will last around 8 hours with approx. 30 minutes break for lunch. Price: The full day two to one workshop is £850 and includes a neon power supply to illuminate your design. Optional backing panel available for an additional charge. Who is it suitable for? Our full day one to one workshop is suitable for anyone aged 14+ (under 18’s to be accompanied by an adult). Beginners, creative enthusiasts, and neon lovers are all welcome. No prior skill or knowledge is required. Location: The session takes place in our workshop – Unit H6 Swan Business Centre, 4 Higher Swan Lane, Bolton, BL3 3AQ. Loose clothing should be avoided if possible and long hair needs to be tied back. Safety glasses provided. Drinks provided, but we suggest bringing a packed lunch. Booking: A £425 non-refundable deposit is required for direct bookings, vouchers are payable in full at time of purchase. Balance due 28 days prior to the workshop. Cancellations or amendments can be made up to 28 days before the workshop. In the unlikely event we have to cancel the workshop due to unforeseen circumstances, we will either re-schedule the workshop, or offer a full refund. Alcohol is prohibited during the workshop.
