DON’T JUST VISIT THE WEST, LIVE IT! The TX Ranch is a genuine working cattle ranch, keeping the spirit of the Old West alive. This is where you can get away from it all, ride without boundaries and live the life of a cowboy for an authentic and memorable experience you’ll never forget. During your week here, you’ll ride across the scenic, privately owned Montana range country on horseback and have a chance to actively work with horses and cattle just like the cowboys of the Old West. With almost 1000 head of mother cows, also replacement heifers, bulls and 100 head of horses this keeps us busy throughout our season. Want to help work calves, wrangle horses or trail a herd? You can do all that and more. There’s a host of activities at TX Ranch involving cattle and horses, from vaccination and brandings to rounding up strays and herding the pack to the proper range locations. All TX Ranch guests can become fully immersed in the ranching experience. With the added bonus of the panoramic Montana and Wyoming scenery, what more could you ask for!
