TX Revolution Flag Sticker — Texas Revolution "Come and Take It" Flag Vinyl Sticker Come and Take It — the defiant flag that launched the Texas Revolution. The Texas Revolution Flag sticker reproduces one of the most iconic symbols of American defiance and independence. The "Come and Take It" flag was flown by Texan settlers at the Battle of Gonzales on October 2, 1835 — the opening engagement of the Texas Revolution. When Mexican authorities demanded the return of a small cannon that had been given to the colonists for defense against raids, the Texans' answer was a white flag bearing a black cannon, a lone star, and the words "Come and Take It." The Mexican troops tried. The Texans kept the cannon. The "Come and Take It" phrase traces its roots to the ancient Greek response "Molon Labe" — attributed to King Leonidas of Sparta at the Battle of Thermopylae. The Texan adaptation has become one of the most recognized symbols of the Second Amendment and individual liberty in American culture, embraced by military service members, veterans, law enforcement officers, and anyone who values the principle of defending what is rightfully yours. The flag represents the spirit of self-reliance and armed resistance that is woven into the DNA of Texas and American identity. Perfect For: Texas heritage enthusiasts, military service members and veterans, Second Amendment supporters, history buffs, and anyone who lives by the words "Come and Take It." Come and Take It.
