Spektrum Receiver Programming Cable: USB Interface Overview: The Spektrum Receiver Programming Cable is required to update any Spectrum receiver that has a data port. IMPORTANT: The Spektrum AS3X Updater Software does not support Mac (OSX). Receiver Updating Instructions: Download the Spektrum AS3X Updater Software from www.spektrumrc.com/AS3X and install the application on your PC-based computer. Start the Spektrum AS3X Updater Software. Connect the interface cable USB connector to your computer. Connect the interface cable servo connector to the receiver DATA port. Register your receiver at www.spektrumrc.com. Download the software update file to your computer. Drag and drop the downloaded file into the Spektrum Updater and click on Update to update your AS3X receiver. Disconnect the interface cable from the receiver, then disconnect the interface cable from your computer.
