The idea of the "Platform" was inspired by a handmade cross-stitch folder Satchi made for my Traveler's Notebook a few years ago. The cross-stitch folder has two felt vertical pockets where I keep a few sticker sheets. But most importantly, it wraps around my JIYU Monthly refill like a gentle hug. It adds tactility and a sense of humanness to my analogue experience whenever I need a place to ground myself, and it's a constant reminder of Satchi's kindness. About a year and a half ago, as I conceptualized the idea of the "Platform", I was imagining an artifact that would become a long-lasting talisman, holding many stories close to your heart.
