Aka Fairy Tale Plant. Fairy Tale Plant (Tylecodon schaeferianus) Fascinating, exotic succulent with gnarled stems and green, egg-shaped foliage speckled with pink. It is native to rocky flats and cliffsides of Namibia where it grows in clumps. Over time, this slow grower branches freely and its bark becomes increasingly knobbly. It goes dormant and loses its leaves in summer then produces pink to white blooms in late summer. This is a choice variety for bonsai projects.
