This waterproof (IP65 rated) 10 Amp charger uses a standard UK 3 pin plug for charging electric cars / PHEV at home or wherever you have access to a UK 3 pin socket for example when away at friends, family, office, caravan etc. This is a very versatile charger, simply plug into a normal 3 pin plug socket as you would your TV or kettle and start charging your electric vehicle. Having an IP65 waterproof rating the charger can be left outside all year round. A purpose built bracket for the charger is included should you wish to attach to a wall/solid object when at home. If your daily mileage is less than 85 miles, this charger is perfect for your electric vehicle as a main everyday EV charger. You do not need a more expensive 7 or 22kW charger. It charges at 10 Amps giving up to 2.3kW of power providing 7-10 miles of range per hour of charge. This adds 85 to 120 miles of range to any electric vehicle or plug in hybrid vehicle when placed on a 12-hour overnight charge.
