COILS ARE MEASURED BY INNER DIAMETER! THIS IS A CUSTOM KIT To most car audio guys, it's common knowledge that Alpine does not sell recone parts or kits for their Type R line of subwoofers. This is a custom kit that includes all the needed parts and adhesives to do your own custom repair of your Alpine Type R 12" subwoofers such as the SWR-1222D. Coil is an upgrade for the SWR-1221D. **NOTES** #1 - You MUST reuse your original terminal ring, cone, and surround. #2 - If you can successfully remove your old dust cap; you can retain the subs original look. Otherwise we have included a nice poly dustcap for a sweet custom look. #3 - Kit includes all the adhesives, shims, and wires needed. #4 - This is NOT a drop-in kit - this is a professional kit. #5 - Instructions are not included, but there are several videos online with instructions on how to recone a speaker.
