Waxed cotton is lightweight and incredibly durable, which is why it’s been used over the centuries for everything from sailcloth to garments for farmers. It's also why we’ve used to it make mountain daypacks suitable for day-in, day-out use. The Tyrol's cushioned back panel and padded shoulder straps provide day-long comfort, secured with an aluminium buckle and loop closure at the front. The zipped outer pocket keeps smaller items accessible (including a clip for your keys) and there's a small, hanging valuables pocket in the main compartment. Created by our factory team here, on the edge of the Peak District, the Tyrol is designed to be hardwearing and enduring: all buckles are aluminium, stress-points are bar-tacked and seams bound.
