U Beta-Alanine is an amino acid essential for maintaining Carnosine levels in the muscles, which in turn boosts your tolerance to lactic acid. In our muscle cells, Beta-Alanine combines with Histidine to form Carnosine. While there's plenty of Histidine in the cells, Beta-Alanine is limited, making it the key factor.
