u-he Melt - Cascade Lowpass Filter. The u-he Melt is a versatile Eurorack voltage-controlled filter combining low-pass and band-pass filtering with extensive modulation and signal-routing options. Its built-in three-channel mixer lets you combine multiple signals before filtering, while the additional Aux input provides a direct path that bypasses the filters. The Core Temperature control adds character by introducing asymmetric soft clipping to the filter core, ranging from subtle warmth to aggressive saturation. Melt also offers flexible CV control over the cutoff frequency, including two FM inputs with dedicated attenuators and a dedicated VCA for FM1. Resonance compensation helps preserve low-end frequencies when increasing resonance, while selectable 12, 18, and 24 dB/octave slopes provide additional control over the filter response.
