They're waterproof and permanent in virtually all environments. Each Premium Paint Marker has a bullet felt tip, which can be removed and replaced if it clogs. Recap tightly when not in use. We visited the factory (only a half hour's drive from our St. Louis HQ) and met a whole bunch of friendly people. Plus, we got to see all of U-Mark's intricately hand-built machinery, some of which was literally designed in-place and custom-machined under the same roof.
