There is no right way or wrong way to mount the U-Sconce. The flattened arch-like shape features 2 mirrored openings to create an even illumination of light upwards and downwards, or if you’re feeling daring, sideways. The exterior of the piece mimics a stone, wearing a hand-painted texture that is achieved by meticulously building up acrylic wash and then sealing it with satin varnish. The interior’s bronze glaze reflects warm light that contrasts the cooler, rock-like tones of the outside surface.
