The UCMF’s still new battlecruiser program has now entered its third generation, showing the demand for these versatile, potent ships. They are the Colonial Fleet’s latest capital ships, and among its most advanced. This generation is built around an entirely new, unified, expandable superstructure, allowing for a tonnage range between supercruisers and pocket battleships. All the well-established classes can be configured, matching the older designs in performance at reduced crew compliment and greatly enhanced repairability through modularity. Additionally, a range of new classes with updated weaponry and capabilities are beginning to leave the yards for the frontlines. Many of these new classes include a colossal docking clamp. This accommodates a skyscraper-sized, self-deploying platform. Surface-based aegis, communications, and torpedo-launch facilities can now be landed quickly during an active engagement, greatly enhancing the Colonial war machine. This box includes: 2 Plastic Battlecruisers 2 Dropfleet bases Miniatures supplied unpainted and unassembled. This kit will require cleaning and assembly, and could need some small holes filled. Other ships and gaming mats are for scale purposes only. Clear acrylic bases will require super glue and may have a protective blue film on one side that will need removing.
