Condition: Brand New Ships from: Melbourne Description Release details Tracklist "Force It" was recorded at Morgan Studios and Wessex Sound Studios in London. Ten Years After bassist Leo Lyons took care of the production. Chick Churchill, also a member of Ten Years After, plays the Fender Rhodes electric piano keyboard on the record, the first use of this instrument on a UFO album. Due to the unusual bright sound, the electric piano offered a new contrast, a novelty in the hard rock genre, which until then had mainly known the heavier sounding Hammond organ. To top it off, UFO showed a new willingness to experiment on "Force It . " They began to look beyond genre boundaries, exploring progressive rock and using odd time signatures, for example in the song "This Kids", which features complex 11/8 metering. As album singles, the Brits released the songs "Shoot Shoot" / "Love Lost Love" and "High Flyer" / "Let It Roll". A total of six of the songs from "Force It" appeared on UFO's groundbreaking 1979 live album "Strangers In The Night", once again highlighting the album's importance in the band's catalog.
