UGears Mechanical Celesta. is a wooden model and a musical instrument that combines elements from the piano, a music box, and a xylophone! Follow the illustrated instructions to complete your comprehensive model build, then choose one of two unique ways to play music with your DIY musical model! You can use the piano-style keys to strike the special metal plates and produce musical notes over a full octave range, from C to C. Or, you can choose to "pre-program" your Celesta by composing your chosen melody on the piano drum, then play it back by turning the crank! Your kit contains all the laser-cut plywood parts, cotton ropes, wooden balls and metal plates required to assemble your model (no glue or special tools required).
