Also known as Russian Purple, Ukrainian Purple is an heirloom variety that produces extremely high yields of 4 to 9-ounce, plum-shaped fruit. Tomatoes are purple, bordering on choc olate brown in color, occasionally with a bit of green in the shoulders. Their flavor is rich, full-bodied and juicy, especially for a plum type.
