Mid-season, Rocambole type. Ukrainian Red boasts a flavor as rich as its history. Big, beautiful heads are wrapped in white skins and open to reveal 7–10 plump cloves with very eas y-to-peel, tan skins. We love the robust, well-rounded flavor that’s spicy when raw and mellow after cooking. Garlic is shipped only in the fall—starting in mid-September, depending on the season and the variety.
