Purposefully constructed of Ultra 400X in high abrasion areas and Ultra 200X in low abrasion areas, ULA have selected a fabric matrix that maximizes durability while keeping the pack ultralight at just 887g. Why Ultra? 15x stronger than steel by weight, twice as abrasion resistant as standard 420D nylon, and waterproof to 200 psi, they've finally found an ultralight fabric that matches ULA's high standards. Front pocket is ULTRA StretchMesh for added abrasion resistance. Note that to maximize water resistance of the ULTRA Ohm, these packs do not have bladder hose ports. The Ultra Ohm was built for the fast hikers who travel light but still take a prudent amount of gear to be safe and comfortable. Combining a 1.2 oz Carbon Fiber/Delrin active suspension hoop and near full-body compression, the Ohm maximizes load control, weight transfer, compression, and overall pack rigidity in an ultralight package. This pack uses the same belt and shoulder strap system as our larger packs, so comfort and weight transfer are optimal. Like their larger packs, the hipbelt can move up or down in its sleeve, allowing you to fine-tune the torso length. This pack comes standard with a roll-top closure.
