This mute is made of brass and works by simply sliding it onto the bridge from the side underneath the strings. Can be slightly adjusted by hand to fit the vast majority of bridge types (except bent moon types and staggered Grover compensated types,) and there is a soft inner lining that protects the bridge from any scratches.
