These Ulu Beaded Earrings, delicately crafted by hand by Atsinak Bishop, are inspired by the iconic Inuit all-purpose knife traditionally used by women of the Arctic. Their intrica te beading replicates the versatile nature of the ulu and exude a sophisticated, exclusive style perfect for any occasion. Atsinak Bishop is originally from Iqaluit, Nunavut, and has lived in Edmonton for 14 years. Atsinak grew up in Iqaluit and camped in the traditional campgrounds in the area. She’s still keeping up with her language of Inuktitut, South Baffin dialect. Her favourite hobby is crafting, such as sewing & beading, and she likes to cook and bake.
