Eos Up mounts flat to a wall or ceiling and reads as half of the Eos sphere, so the shade delivers presence in rooms with no space for a hanging fixture. Around 1,175 goose feather s cover the medium and 2,475 cover the large, each one set by hand over a steel frame and textile backing. Feathers diffuse the light into a soft, warm glow with no glare. Mounting takes about 15 minutes and needs no electrician for a standard ceiling box. The fixture takes two bulbs in E26 base, up to 15W each, sold separately.
