The original artwork is 70 x 50cm (27 x 19.7), but NLXL enlarged it by 8 times which revealed its age. To restore it, NLXL spent over 40 hours digitally removing cracks and wrinkle s. However, they intentionally left some imperfections to preserve the beauty of the painting. The artist, Henrik Voogd, was known as the 'Dutch Claude' for his stunning landscapes infused with golden light. In this piece, he captured the gardens of Villa Borghese in Rome at twilight, with a figure sketching under a tree in the foreground. Show more
