There are about 1600 plum trees in the field of about 3 hectares in "Blue Dragon's Village" overlooking the clear stream Hidaka River. Starting from the soil when the seeding process begins, there is no chemical sterilization. So no chemical pesticides or fertilizer is used. The planting only uses the traditional compost such as momigawa and tree skin. Still, the plum tree produce lush greens and bear many fruits every year.
