uMetos Digital Rain Gauge - This uMetos station includes the uMetos base station with NB-IoT/Cat-M1 connectivity, and a tipping rain gauge/bucket. Being 100% customisable and upgradeable, farmers can start simple and measure rain from the start, and adding additional sensors later on as their needs change. It also has an SDI-12 connection point on the board., which makes it ready to connect to any SDI-12 device, including an optional EnviroPro Soil Moisture Probe. Additional sensors compatible with this station include: Solar radiation, Pressure switch, Soil temperature, Watermark, Ultrasonic wind speed and direction, PI54, and many others. Data is consistently measured in 15-minute intervals and sent to the server every 15 - 60 minutes—and this can be changed to fit the specific monitoring needs. To mitigate mobile network connectivity issues, the station stores data from the last few days internally and resends the measured values to the cloud when the mobile network is back online. All the data is synchronized and stored on the FieldClimate platform, integrated with all additional services from PI and available for further integrations via PI API.
