How the system works Pick your target color reference target and pull the recipe from the free UMX software. Weigh the 18 mixing bases per the recipe on any gram scale (or grab the UMX Mixing Kit with a free scale). Print, cure, and get a verified, repeatable spot color — every time. Printing & curing Mesh: 110–305 depending on the print Squeegee: 65, 75 or 80 durometer — or a 70/90/70 triple durometer Flash: 240–260°F between colors Cure: curing is a time-and-temperature process — bring the full ink film to 320–350°F (160–177°C); confirm with a temp gun or donut probe, not dryer air temp Recommended companion products Nylon Bond 289 Additive — mix into this ink to bond prints to nylon and other slick synthetics (catalyst; stir in a small amount, limited pot life, always test first).
