This Bind-N-Fly® Basic model arrives factory-assembled and nearly flight-ready right out of the box. Simply install the one-piece wing with a few screws, install a charged battery, bind it to your compatible Spektrum transmitter and fly. Advanced EPS construction provides a lightweight yet durable airframe. The distinctive, gracefully curved polyhedral wing and efficient airfoil deliver outstanding soaring performance and long flight times with or without motor power. The factory-installed power system features a coreless motor, gearbox and an efficient folding propeller. Exclusive Technologies This UMX™ Radian® is equipped with exclusive Spektrum™ AS3X® (Artificial Stabilization – 3-aXis) and SAFE® (Sensor Assisted Flight Envelope) Select technologies. AS3X works behind the scenes to smooth out the effects of wind and turbulence to deliver a locked-in feel that makes it seem like you're flying a much larger airplane. Optional-use SAFE Select offers pitch and bank angle limits along with automatic self-leveling that can be turned on and off at the flip of a switch, making it easy to fly for low-time and experienced pilots alike. Telemetry Capable The UMX™ Radian® is equipped with a control unit/flight controller that includes two servos plus an ESC and Spektrum™ receiver that provides real-time flight battery voltage telemetry to compatible Spektrum AirWare™ equipped transmitters (including the DX6e and 8e, DX6 G2/G3 and 8 G2, the DX9, NX6, 8 and 10, the iX12, iX20 and others) while you fly.
