A 100+ page culture magazine built entirely on original reporting across eight countries, gathering only first-hand stories on coffee, craft, sports, and nature. Over the course of a year, we traveled the world and interviewed people from every walk of life: a university professor in Indonesia, brand owners in San Francisco, IT startup founders, coffee farm owners in Panama, a pâtissier in Paris, professional surfers, dog trainers, and many more. To present people from such diverse fields in a single medium, the format that felt most authentic was a magazine. That is why we chose to launch a print magazine—now considered “old media”—in the AI-dominated year of 2025. In an age when anyone can look up anything and AI agents can provide instant answers, we wanted to create a media outlet that shares only what we have truly seen and personally reported.
