Under the mpwelerre tree, Tré Turner, 2023, acrylic paint on found board, 95 x 62 cm, $2,000. Tré Turner (re/they) is an Arrernte painter, producer, performer based in narrm. Worki ng through multidisciplinary projects, they create spaces to highlight and centre queer and/or Blak communities. Exploring Blak futurism, gender and sexuality, sovereignty and Country through queer fantastical scenes, dreaming of distant and forgotten futures that the land still remembers. Shipping is not included in the online artwork purchase price. Artworks currently on exhibition can be collected from the gallery at 45 Flinders Lane, Melbourne VIC 3000 once the exhibition has concluded.
