This is a six hour online CPD event and includes full course notes, reflective log and exercise sheets and issue of a CPD Certificate for six hours CPD This online workshop will look at understanding one of the most common personality disorders but at the same time one of the most difficult to deal with for both therapists and families / friends. We will look at defining what BPD is and some of the other terms being used to highlight this type of personality. It will go on to look at the core traits of this personality and other personalities closely associated with BPD. It will also consider initial engagement and management strategies when dealing with individuals presenting with BPD and associated personalities. We will look at BPD and its associated personalities by considering management and treatment protocols and the different techniques and approaches now used to work with these personality types.
