CLASS DESCRIPTION FACILITATOR(S) A free virtual Q&A session hosted by the San Francisco Doula Group for individuals and families exploring personalized birth and postpartum support. Doulas support a wide range of situations, including birth parents, adoptive parents, surrogates, and other primary caregivers. In this informative session, you'll learn: The Birth Doula's full scope of support, including how they offer continuous emotional and physical support during labor and childbirth. The Postpartum Doula's full scope of support, including how they ease the transition into new family life and the postpartum/adjustment period for both parents/caregivers and the new family member. The overall benefits of continuous care and doula support. Valuable tips on how to find the right doula for you and your situation. Guests will hear directly from multiple experienced members of the SFDG and have an opportunity to ask questions about Doula support in a dedicated Q&A period.
