Piero Lissoni's Uni series approaches storage as a problem of architecture. The geometry is strict, the proportions deliberate, and the resulting cabinet reads less as furniture th an as a built element within a room. Every decision, from the aluminium-lined poplar plywood construction to the acidified glass interior shelving, reflects a sensibility shaped by decades of rigorous practice. Wall-mounted configurations are available with three drawers or three leaf doors, each finished in medium-density conglomerate wood. The surfaces carry a quiet precision that holds up under close inspection, in both matte and glossy finishes. Free-standing versions rest on thick laminate base panels supported by a metal frame, grounding the composition without competing with its surroundings.
