Unifine Pentips Plus are sterile, single-use pen needles from Owen Mumford with an integrated needle removal chamber. They combine the Unifine Pentips needle design with a built-in disposal feature that allows the used needle to be removed from the injection pen and temporarily retained within the locking chamber until it can be transferred to an appropriate sharps container. How to use: Wash and dry your hands before preparing the injection. Remove a new Unifine Pentips Plus needle from the pack and attach it securely to the compatible injection pen according to the pen manufacturer's instructions. Prepare the pen, perform a flow check where required, select the prescribed dose and administer the injection using the technique recommended by your healthcare professional. After the injection, use the integrated removal chamber to unscrew and securely retain the used needle. The Safe Click mechanism indicates when the needle has been locked into the chamber. The removal chamber provides interim storage only. Dispose of the unit and retained used needles in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions and local sharps-disposal arrangements. Important information: For single use only. Use a new sterile needle for every injection. Never reuse or share pen needles or injection pens. The built-in chamber does not remove the need for safe sharps disposal. Used needles must ultimately be disposed of using an appropriate sharps-disposal system.
