UNIMIG RAZOR MULTI 220 Welder (U11008K) The UNIMIG RAZOR MULTI 220 is a 240V single-phase, 3-in-1 multi-process welder that delivers MIG, DC TIG and stick welding from one 15.1kg portable unit. With synergic MIG programs that set the machine up for you, a digital control MIG torch, 220 amps of output and a 5-year warranty, it's built for tradies, maintenance crews and workshops that need one machine to handle everything from 1mm sheet to 12mm plate. Every RAZOR MULTI 220 from QWS is built, tested and tagged in our Bulimba workshop before delivery — configured with your wire, gas and consumables so it's job-ready on arrival. Why Tradies and Workshops Choose the RAZOR MULTI 220 Three processes, one machine. Run gas MIG for production work, gasless MIG on site, DC lift arc TIG for stainless and thin sections, and stick for repairs, structural and outdoor work. One power source covers the workload of three machines — without three machines' worth of bench space or budget. Synergic MIG makes setup effortless. Select your wire type, wire size, gas and material thickness, and the machine sets optimal voltage and wire speed automatically. Less time chasing parameters, more time laying consistent welds — and a much faster learning curve for apprentices and occasional welders. Adjust settings from the torch. The included 4m M24 digital MIG torch lets you change parameters on the fly, at the weld — no walking back to the machine between joints. On ladders, inside tanks or across large workpieces, that saves real time. Genuinely portable, genuinely powerful. At 15.1kg with a 240V 15A plug and generator compatibility (12kVA minimum), the MULTI 220 moves between workshop, ute and site without compromise. MIG output runs 30–220A with a 100% duty cycle at 85A for continuous lighter work. Smooth, reliable wire feeding. The geared wire drive system keeps feed speed consistent under load, reducing burnbacks and arc stutter — with burnback adjustment, wire inch and inductance control for fine-tuning your arc characteristics. DC lift arc TIG built in. Trigger-controlled lift arc ignition (5–220A) starts cleanly without HF interference and protects your tungsten from sticking. The machine is also foot control ready for amperage adjustment mid-weld. Stick welding with the smarts. Adjustable Arc Force and Hot Start improve arc stability and starting on 2.5–4.0mm electrodes, with VRD for site-safe operation on material up to 12mm. Backed for the long haul. IGBT inverter platform, IP23S protection, Class H insulation, thermal overload protection and UNIMIG's 5-year warranty — with QWS service and repairs support here in Brisbane. The RAZOR MULTI 220 is a 3-in-1 multi-process welder that performs MIG, DC TIG and stick welding from a single 240V machine. It suits tradies, maintenance teams, fabrication workshops and serious home users who need one portable unit to weld mild steel, stainless steel and (with a spool gun) aluminium. Is the RAZOR MULTI 220 single phase? Yes — it runs on 240V single-phase power with a standard 15A plug, so it works in most workshops and on domestic-style power. It's also generator compatible, requiring a minimum 12kVA generator for site work. Can the RAZOR MULTI 220 weld aluminium? Yes, in MIG mode with the optional spool gun connection, which provides the short, consistent wire feed path soft aluminium wire needs. Note the TIG function is DC only, so it won't AC TIG aluminium — if AC/DC TIG is your priority, ask QWS about the RAZOR TIG range instead. What is synergic MIG welding? Synergic MIG means the machine automatically sets voltage and wire feed speed from a few simple inputs — your wire type, wire size, gas and material thickness. On the RAZOR MULTI 220 this makes setup fast and repeatable, which is ideal for mixed workloads and less experienced operators. What's the duty cycle of the RAZOR MULTI 220? In MIG mode at 40°C, it delivers 15% at the full 220A, 60% at 110A and 100% at 85A — meaning continuous welding at 85 amps, which comfortably covers most sheet and light plate work. How thick can the RAZOR MULTI 220 weld? It MIG welds 1–10mm material and stick welds 2–12mm using 2.5–4.0mm electrodes. Thicker sections can be handled with multi-pass techniques and appropriate joint preparation. Does the RAZOR MULTI 220 come with a warranty? Yes — UNIMIG backs it with a 5-year warranty. Every machine from QWS is also built, tested and tagged in our Brisbane workshop before it ships, with local servicing and repairs support for the life of the machine.
