A Klickfix rack is defined by two parallel bars set about 4 inches apart. This sturdy and simple outline offers lockable, quick-fitting functionality for easily securing any bag equipped with a matching Klickfix bracket. The Klickfix design standard is the product of a little-known (to most motorcyclists) third party German company called Rixen Kaul, which produces a wide array of bicycle pannier bag and basket mounts, and one fantastic motorcycle-specific product with its Klickfix Bracket, which UNIT Garage has smartly capitalized on with scores of bike-specific racks, and a growing catalog of Klickfix bag options.UNIT offers Klickfix ready roll-top soft bags in waxed canvas, in a range of canvas colors and leather trims; and in a heavy-duty welded TPU Khali Series. Both designs use an ABS plate inside the bag for structure and support. Note: the Klickfix bracket itself comes with a 10KG/22lb stated load limit. Considering the bracket comes from a German manufacturer, and judging by the fiberglass-filled Nylon construction, we’ll hazard a guess that there’s some appreciable surplus safety factor built into the stated allowances.
