Wuji Hand 2 — 20 Active DOF with Full Opposition Each Wuji Hand 2 provides 20 active degrees of freedom, full opposition capability and lateral swing support. This architecture enables varied grasp postures, detailed finger coordination and flexible manipulation across complex research tasks. The direct-drive rotary joint configuration is fully back-drivable, allowing the fingers to respond transparently to external forces. This design supports responsive interaction and natural mechanical behavior during contact-rich manipulation. 20 Active DOF 1000 Hz Control ≥4 Cycles Per Second 1080p Wrist Cameras 1000 Hz Control with MIT Force-Position Hybrid Mode The hands operate at a control frequency of 1000 Hz across 20 axes and support MIT Force-Position Hybrid Control. This high update rate enables responsive finger control, precise adjustment of motion and force, and stable behavior during dynamic manipulation. Communication is handled through EtherNet 1000BASE-T, providing high-speed and reliable data transmission between the hand system and the robot's computing architecture. High-Speed Grasping with Low Mechanical Backlash Each hand delivers a fingertip peak force of at least 15 N and an opening and closing speed of at least 4 cycles per second. Joint backlash remains below 1°, supporting accurate motion and repeatable finger positioning. The hand frame measures approximately 185 × 80 × 40 mm, and the minimum grasping diameter is 0 mm. The operating voltage range of 16–58 V DC supports flexible integration with the H2 Plus Ultimate-M platform. Wrist-Mounted RGB Cameras for Close-Range Perception Each Wuji Hand 2 includes a wrist-mounted RGB camera with 1920 × 1080 resolution and a diagonal field of view of 130°. These cameras provide detailed close-range visual feedback during fine manipulation and grasp verification. 71 Degrees of Freedom — Exceptional Whole-Body Dexterity The H2 Plus Ultimate-M provides 71 total degrees of freedom: 6 per leg, 7 per arm, 3 at the waist, 2 at the head and 20 in each dexterous hand. This configuration combines dynamic whole-body motion with highly articulated finger control for advanced bimanual manipulation and human–robot interaction research. NVIDIA Jetson Thor — Ultimate Onboard AI Compute The standard PC3 computing module is an NVIDIA Jetson Thor delivering 2070 TFLOPS of FP4 sparse AI performance. Its 2560-core NVIDIA Blackwell architecture GPU with 5th Generation Tensor Cores is paired with a 14-core Arm Neoverse-V3AE 64-bit CPU operating at 2.6 GHz and 128 GB of LPDDR5X memory with 273 GB/s bandwidth. The robot also includes an Intel Core i5 processor for platform functionality and an Intel Core i7 processor for user development. An empty PC4 slot is reserved for an optional Intel Core i7 module selected at the time of purchase. High-Torque Joints. Industrial-Grade Precision. Low-inertia, high-speed inner-rotor permanent magnet synchronous motors provide up to 120 N·m of torque in the arm joints and up to 360 N·m in the leg joints. Industrial-grade cross-roller bearings support high precision and load capacity, while the arms provide an approximate rated payload of 7 kg and a peak payload of approximately 15 kg. Aerospace-Grade Construction & Quick-Swap Power The robot is constructed from aerospace-grade aluminum, titanium alloy and high-strength engineering plastics. It weighs approximately 70 kg with battery and uses an air-cooled thermal design. The 15 Ah, 0.972 kWh smart battery operates at up to 75.6 V and provides approximately 3 hours of runtime. Its quick-release design supports practical battery replacement during research and testing. Stereo Vision & Natural Human–Robot Interaction A bionic head and face are combined with wide-field-of-view humanoid stereo cameras covering 140° horizontally and 102° vertically. Array microphones and high-power speakers support voice interaction and natural human–robot communication. Connectivity, Interfaces & Open Development The H2 Plus Ultimate-M supports Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2 and smart OTA updates. External interfaces include USB 3.0, USB-DP, GMSL, Gigabit Ethernet, USB 2.0, RS485, CAN and dedicated 12 V, 24 V and battery power outputs. Full secondary development is supported through open APIs and an SDK compatible with ROS2, Python and C++. Deep system access allows researchers to build custom perception, control, manipulation and embodied AI workflows directly on the platform. Designed For Direct-Drive Manipulation Fully back-drivable rotary joints for transparent and responsive contact-rich manipulation. High-Speed Finger Control Twenty-axis control at 1000 Hz with MIT force-position hybrid control and rapid opening and closing. Embodied AI Research Jetson Thor AI compute for perception, planning, learning and advanced autonomous behavior. Custom Development Open APIs, ROS2, Python, C++ and deep system access for specialized research applications. Included Equipment & Development Safety The standard package includes one charger, one quick-release smart battery and one handheld remote controller.
