Speedball's Universal Pottery Wheel Bats are manufactured from injection molded plastic which can not warp during normal usage. The "Easy Lift Rim" around the outside edge of the S peedball Universal Pottery Wheel Bats creates a small lip that allows the bat to be easily lifted off the wheel head, so wheel head sized bats can purchased and the user can have full access to the splash pan surrounding the wheelhead. As the Speedball Universal Pottery Wheel Bat uses a dedicated bat pin mount, the mounting holes do not penetrate the surface of the bat so your pot bottoms won't be marked or having to clean clay out of bat holes or pins.
