The USA is our most popular attachment method, and for good reason. So, we made it affordable and bullet proof. The UNIVERSAL USA is compatible for both sticks as well as stands and platforms. What makes the USA unique is it's Schwabisch hitch and TAG tender for exceptional tightness and ease of use. This attachment method allows for limitless adjustment as it does not need loops or knots for tightening. The UNIVERSAL USA is made using 5/32" dyneema mainline and 1/8" Schwabisch hitch. With our most recent upgrade to our Schwabisch hitch and TAG tender we were able to decrease overall bulk and weight from the product by no longer requiring a full bury design while maintaining exceptional strength and tightness. This option adds a second Schwabisch hitch along the main line of the rope to utilize a pulley/trucker hitch effect and get the attachment twice as tight as the original. The idea of the USA was born when someone used a tether to attach their tree stand to the tree. When seeing that, I thought we could take Amsteel and take this to the next level. The USA was born! A simple full bury rope mod with a single prussic friction hitch. Over the next couple years we made several changes to get the system FASTER. LIGHTER. STRONGER. We changed from a full bury to a rope mod, changed from a prussic to a schwabisch hitch, and added a tender. As you can see the USA has had several improvements over the years. And, we strive to give you THE BEST attachment method we can possibly produce. There is not a step we skip or take short cuts on. What I mean by that is, as we aimed to keep improving we saw one consistent issue with the USA and that was the plastic tender and the castration band that connected the friction hitch and tender together. I would get emails all year that the tender would break while people are hunting. That did not settle well with me, nothing is more frustrating than spending your hard earned money on a product for the possibility of it failing. So, to the drawing board we went. I have a close friendship with Scott, the owner of Hunt Arsenal, and asked for his expertise. We spent a whole fall testing and proving the design and strength. The following spring we released the TAG TENDER. A axe shaped design with added strength where every readily available tender was breaking. The axe shape helped give it strength and also made adjustments even easier. Now that we checked off the number one issue it was to solve the castration band. While they never broke people were losing them to tree branches or thick cover while getting to their destination. How do we fix this? We came up with the SHEATHED USA. Connecting both loops with a Kevlar reinforced tubular webbing that offered multiple solutions : NO MORE CASTRATION BAND, PROTECTIVE LAYER, AND BRANDING. It has been a home run to say the least. Since releasing these changes we have never had a report of a tender breaking, and after the first couple hundred released we have had no issues of the Kevlar sheathing breaking, being damaged, or unraveling. The sheathed USA is the premier of attachment methods in the mobile hunting world and there was one more thing to do with it! Make it as budget friendly as possible. Summer 2025, we start testing and prototypes to see how we can make the USA unique and affordable. We had already accomplished this with our dyneema daisy chains so we followed the same route. We reached out to our partner overseas and produced our UNIVERSAL USA. This product was made to be used for STICKS, STANDS, AND PLATFORMS. While before we had USA’s for sticks and USA’s for stands/platforms. We wanted something that could work for both. While keeping the weight ratings and strength of the larger stand/platform version, but packability of the stick version. So, we made an in-between size of dyneema that checked all the boxes. It was strong, it was light, it was packable. So, we made it. And, we cut the price. We made them buy 3 get 1 free.
